Donald Eastop, President

My name is Donald Eastop, and I am honoured to hold the position of President of the Dalhousie Commerce Society (DCS) for the 2018-2019 academic year. I am a fourth year Finance major. I became involved in the DCS in my second year when I held the position of Photographer. Later I held Second Year Representative and Third Year Represenative I have been fortunate to take on a myriad of roles and responsibilities within the society, and have enjoyed every moment! Through these positions, I was able to gain a vast amount of knowledge and continue to enhance my skill set. Being involved in the Rowe School of Business is something that I feel is a great opportunity and I encourage all of you to get involved during your time here. Not only will you have the opportunity to grow your network, but you will make lifelong friends along the way. It has been an exciting year so far, and it has only just begun! I hope to engage with as many of you as possible over the course of my term as President. Our executive team has been working diligently to ensure that the foundation for future years of the Dalhousie Commerce Society is stronger than ever!

Eryn Green, VP Academic

My name is Eryn Green and I am this years VP Academic! This means I’ll be handling all case competitions and helping out with getting students to conferences they’re interested in. I’ve been an active member of the Dalhousie Commerce Society since my first year at Dal and have loved every minute of it. Brooke Kennedy, VP Marketing

My name is Brooke Kennedy, and I am super excited to be representing the Dalhousie Commerce Society as this year’s VP Marketing. Both myself along with the executive team are eager to work towards an unbelievable 2018-2019 year! Julia Penney, VP External

Hi everyone, my name is Julia Penney and I am lucky to hold the position of VP External for this academic year! My goal for this year is to engage more with the community and create a positive impact in Halifax and I am so excited to get things rolling! This year will have the amazing charity events we’ve been doing for the past few years as well as some new initiatives and ways to connect with the community. Riley McCunn, VP Finance

Hi everyone, my name is Riley McCunn and I am your VP finance for the upcoming school year! I’ve been involved in DCS for a couple years now and have loved every minute of it. Erin Peterson, VP Internal

Hey, I’m Erin! I am this years VP Internal, meaning that I will organize internal matter among our exec team as well as all of our amazing umbrella societies. My goal this year is to get more students involved with these societies since they’re a great way to meet people and gain actual experience in different areas of business. Abbey Henley, VP Events

I’m Abbey Henley and I am this upcoming years VP Events. I am super excited to be spending my final year enhancing the Rowe’s social scene by giving the students events they will thoroughly enjoy! I plan on working closely with the year representatives to create engaging events that will reach out to the entire student body. Let’s make this year a fun, memorable experience for all the students!
